Namaste,
Here is a pretty good documentary of the Ganga made by the BBC. Surprisingly, or rather, astonishingly, it does not dwell on the squalor, filth, and pollution of the Ganges but rather, on the serenity, beauty, and ferocious placidity of the Ganga. It is narrated by an Indian woman who pronounces words correctly and has a soothing voice.
I found it refreshing after seeing anything and everything about the Ganges centering around the pollution of the river rather than the river and its importance itself.
