First off, this is the first online forum I've ever been involved with so I hope
I can navigate through it okay. I've just recently become interested in Hinduism and would like to learn as much about it as possible, so I will be asking a lot of questions. At this point it all seems very complicated given the number of deities and various rites and so on. I am looking forward to gaining a better understanding.

Thank you Indraneela. Perhaps you can help me by telling me what Namasté
means. I take it as a greeting, but is it specific to Hinduism or Indian in general?
