I knew there is continued steady growth of plant based diets in in western countries. Malaysia is unique in that its kind of half west, half east. Its always good to see people turning over a new leaf.

I often wonder just what it takes, on an individual level, and if there is any ways another individual can be a catalyst for this without sounding preachy.

So true, the best that can be offered is to feel for the pain of the animals and that is preachy.

I am finding a solution to this question myself, being the 'religious vegetarian' in a family of 'non-vegetarians'. :(
