This Encyclopaedic Dictionary of five volumes is comprehensive information of more than 2000 terms of Puranic themes of all the important aspects of the Puranas which play prominent role in Indian religio-cultural, social and philosophical tradition.
This book seems to contain over a 1000 pages worth of Puranic tales. Sounds like a good read on Puranas for someone new to them.
