One of the things that makes India great, is India's majestic and diverse wildlife.

As Hindus, we do not want to poach such majestic souls such as the Tiger, whose body parts are still being sold to Chinese markets as medicines. The Chinese government makes fan fair on paper but has a blind eye to this open trade.

We have seen a decline once again in tiger population, after a hopeful period of increases. It seems poacher gangs who cannot value life and have no sense as to consequence are now organized and murdering India's tiger to profit from this trade to the nation of China.

The tiger is just one example of India's wildlife threatened by human greed and lack of respect for life.

I just wanted to remind all Hindus what many of you already know, but we can make a difference. Especially for the Tiger.

There are many ways you can help.

This is just one way:

Namaste,

Additional info about being able to make donations to this charity:

In the US, Charities Aid Foundation America has been retained to collect funds, retain the administrative fees and send the rest to the Wildlife protection society. Also, when I tried to make an online donation, their website stated that they were unable to accept less than $500 in donations. Any smaller amount donated, minus the administrative fees would be sent back to the donor. So, for people making donations smaller than $500, it seems that the best bet is to send a check directly to the wildlife protection society at their Delhi address contained in the link provided above to support this worthy cause.

Pranam.
