The Thyagaraja krithi to end all krithis. This nectarean composition of Sri Thyagaraja depicts the grandeur of the wedding between Lord Rama and Mother Sita. Sung in rAgam shankarAbharaNam, it is one of my all-time favorites. Another user on Youtube said it best about this krithi:

"What song do you listen to after you hear this ? NOTHING is better than this absolutely nothing... I am so in bliss I feel all my sins are washed away and I would have no regrets if I were to die in my sleep tonight - if only to wake up in heaven at Gods feet."

This is beautiful, thanks. I understand you want to stress on ThyagrAj's devotion and gift, and hence this is under Indian Arts, but shouldn't this [also] go onto the bhajans thread we have - started by Sahasranama(under bhakti and karma) ?

I think it belongs there. I can locate the thread or better, put the link there.

There are so many forums and subforums, it's hard to keep track of them all. But by all means, feel free to link from there.

Of course. You are not expected to dream about this thread, that is why i pointed it out. I put the link there - here is the thread:

and while there, also added Bramha SaMhitA (selected shlok) and Vyenkatesha Suprabhatam (both are jewels and my favorites).

Actually we have another thread for bhajan sites under "Dharma Related Websites" : this one : http://www.hindudharmaforums.com/showthread.php?t=5699
