Wishing You And Your Family A Very Happy Deepavali

And

A Peaceful & Prosperous New Year

The sum and substance of the whole matter is that a man must love God, must be restless for Him. It doesn't matter whether you believe in God with form or God without form. You may or may not believe that God incarnates Himself as man. But you will realize Him if you have that yearning. Then He himself will let you know what He is like. If you must be mad, why should you be mad for the things of the world? If you must be mad, be mad for God alone. - Sri Ramakrishna

You will feel restless for God when your heart becomes pure and your mind free from attachment to the things of the world. Then alone will your prayer reach God. A telegraph wire cannot carry messages if it has a break or some other defect. - Sri Ramakrishna

He who has faith has all
He who lacks faith, lacks all
It is the faith int he name of lord that works wonders
FAITH IS LIFE, DOUBT IS DEATH - Sri Ramakrishna

Namaste,

I have tried to give basic intro of Hindu Dharma here (http://indiaspirituality.blogspot.in/2013/10/an-introduction-to-hindu-dharma.html), which I have extracted from the book Hindu Dharma (http://www.kamakoti.org/newlayout/template/hindudharma.html)

I hope I have done justice in portraying our Dharma.

Namaste HDF,

Very very happy safe prosperous Deepavali to every one.

Different states in India celebrate the same festival with different reasons.
Shree Raama Chandra Prabhu and Shri krishna descended at different times, but both have slayed two different demons during the same period. I am not sure whether this question is valid, but I never understood why and how all events had occurred on the same time of the year.
