Namaste,
I have been praying to Sri Tara Mahavidya once a day ( 12-4am night).

Since the day I started praying to her, I have noticed I have my problems drifting away. I am quite happy.

I pray to her while repeating a video I found on the internet.. but I am scared that if I forget to pray to her once a day I might be in trouble?

When I pray to her, I offer her milk in a cup, and then I take it as prasad after when my prayer is over.

Is there any way I can stop praying to her without her getting mad at me? I am scared of commitment, I am only 18 years old.

I have been doing this Kavacham once a day:

Namaste chakreshvari,

Please do not be too frightened; although it is not recommended that
one should begin any sort of practice based on what is found on the
Internet etc., it does not appear from your post that you have an attitude of
disrespect or have done this for greedy or malicious motives.. remember,
Devi knows what is in your heart better than you do, and while She is never
to be tested or trifled with, She is the Compassionate One.. in Her form of
Maa Tara, it is said that She appeared after Lord Shiva fell
unconscious from drinking the Halahala, took Him in Her lap, and suckled
Him, Her milk allowing Lord Shiva to recover.

If you are still worried about this or have other concerns, please feel free
to PM me to discuss further.

Please pray to Mother Sri Tara Mahavidya for me!

Tonight it so happened I visited my local Shiva Muruga temple (I love visiting this temple in the evening!) specifically to have darshan of Devi. I was given prashad of two pears and three carnations. Om Namah Sivaya

Namaste ShivaFan :),

I will gladly pray for you as well!

Oh wow lovely!! :D I am happy for you.

I look forward to the day where I get to go to any Mandir for the 1st time. I am of Indian Decent but my parents believe in a different kind of religion and have never taken me to a Mandir. They are often surprised how I am into Sanatan Dharm while never have being in a Mandir in my whole life.
