Hello!

I am sort of a beginner on my path of being a Vaishnava so please bare with me!

Can someone tell me some texts where Lord Vishnu directly speaks? Not the Gita, none of his avatars, but Lord Visnhu himself?

Also, some where Shiva directly speaks as well.

Thank you!

Hari OM

Namaste SonAnthony:)

About Lord Vishnu the answer is Srimad Bhagavata Purana and Vishnu Purana.

I assume even the other main four vaishnava puranas:)

Pranama,
Orlando.

Outside the Vaishnava field, some scriptures where Shiva directly speaks are the Agama Tantras.

You should know that Lord Krishna is Lord Vishnu Himself. So when Lord Krishna speaks in the Bhagavad gita this means that Lord Vishnu directly speaks. :)
Similar is with others such as Lord Rama, Lord Narayana, Lord Nrisimha, Lord Sankarshana, Lord Pradyumna, ... etc. They are all different forms of Lord Vishnu called with a common name as a category of Vishnu tattva.

See eg prayer offered by Lord Shiva to The Supreme Lord in one Purana called Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, verses 4.24.31 and forward (http://vedabase.net/sb/4/24/en).

Im unsure of lord vishnu but direct dialogues from Lord SHiva can be seen in Shiva geeta of padma purana where lord Shiva reveals His supreme self to His devotee Lord Rama
