Hi Friends,

I am reading through the following site on Bhagavad Gita exposition.
http://www.bhagavad-gita.org/Gita/verse-01-01.html

There is an audio for each verse in Sanskrit sung by a female singer.
It seems the audio is continuous but has been cut up & the separate
parts are loaded for each verse.

Can you please identify the Female Singer & the Album?

I have also posted the MP3 (small part) from the above site here...

Thank you very much.
Andy.

Namaste,

Welcome to the forum Andy.

Anuradha Paudwal is considered to be the premier singer of scriptures. However, I can't confirm if it is her singing in the link that you provided. Some other members may have a better ear for that. :)

Here is a link to chapter by chapter singing of the book, but the interludes break it down into individual verses. I am afraid a continuous rendition without interludes/breaks may be too much for us to keep up with and that is why they provide only the verse by verse singing.

The singer of Gita Shlok on that most profound Gita site is very melodious and perfect, but it is not Anuradha Paudwal.

This is Anuradha Paudwal:
om jay JagadIsha Hare (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hf6Qf_3NbjI)
The lady in the magenta-purple sari is her, the singer herself.
Heart-lifting isn't it?

Thank You dear Anuradha
