Om Shirdi Sai Ram.
Namaste.

In Srimad Bhagavatham authored by the great Sage Veda Vyasa there is a sloka(verse) mentioning the nine types of bhakti.(Devotion)
Even if any one of these is followed the devotee is sure to attain the Lotus Feet of Lord Hari (or His Sadguru).
The sloka(verse) is mentioned in the Prahalada Charitram.

"Sravanam(Hearing) Kirtanam(Singing) Vishnoho Smaranam(Reciting)Padasevanam (Service), Archanam(Prayers)Vandanam(Salute)Daasyam(Servant) Sakhya(Friend)Maatma Nivedhanam."

People well versed with Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Charita book (Biography of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba) authored by Hemadpant when Shri Shirdi Sai Baba was living in flesh and blood, may realise the importance given by HIM for the nine types of devotion.Just a few minutes before attaining Mahasamadhi (On 15-10-1918 afternoon),HE had given by way of charity nine coins to Smt.Lakshmibhai indicating the nine types of bhakti.
