Minnesota, USA native.
I began with Kriya Yoga about twenty years ago which lead to studying Kashmir Shaivism, was involved with a local Siddha Yoga community for a few years, enjoyed kirtan with Hare Krishnas, and kind of dropped off from practices (but not a loss of interest) for a number of years.
I took a tour of a nearby mandir this year, and I've been going there every couple of weeks for Shiva, Durga, Bhairava puja / abhishekam. I've also started doing puja at home for Shiva, Ganesha, and Kali.
Until this year I would have rejected being called a Hindu, but as I learn more I am now embracing it.
