Hi to everybody!!! my name is Johny and I´m from Spain. I´m posting this because I need some help to translate some sacred papers... This was given to me some time ago...but I dont know what is the meaning...I guess it´s written in sanscrit but really I have no idea...so, I post it here and if any body could help me just to tell me an idea about what it says...at least will be a great help cause I have it in my personal shrine and I would like to know I have something good there. It´s like a wood book with ten pages like this...it looks very old... and was a great give...

I will thank you all for your help!!!!

here are two pics of it:

Vannakkam: Not a script I recognise, and definitely not Sanskrit. You might try this: http://www.ancientscripts.com/search.php?q=India

Namaste,

This is written in Bengali but excessive cursive writing makes it difficult for me to exactly decipher the meaning. Some native Bengali person would be able to help.

That looks like Tibetan to me: http://www.omniglot.com/writing/tibetan.htm

In any case, I'm from Kolkata, and I assure you that the script is not Bengali. See for yourself: http://www.omniglot.com/writing/bengali.htm

That is what I thought. The picture is that of Buddha and the script is most likely Tibetan. So, native Indian people are of little use in this matter. :)
