I was here years ago then my life went through tremendous changes and I sorta went unconscious. I'm happy to report that it resulted in a renaissance which is still happening. Sanskrit studies has been part of yoga for me and that has resumed. In addition to that I have just begun practicing Iyengar yoga.

Nice to be back! :-)

Thank you! It's so nice to find an active community of serious (and not so serious ;-) ) practitioners.

Namaste,

I am intrigued by the fact that you have undertaken the task of translating the Bhagwad Gita. Few questions that I have are,

1. Do none of the 100's of existing translations suit your purpose?
2. Are you sufficiently immersed in the faith and have the level of spiritual maturity required for a spiritual translation instead of a literal secular translation?
3. Do you have a specific target audience in mind or is it an exercise for yourself only?

I am not questioning your motives; just trying to get a read of the need/desire of your endeavor.

Pranam.
