I feel a stinging within or inside/atop of my head.
I have been Meditating for some years.

My questions:
1.Is this anything to do with kundalini awakening ?
2.I sometimes have mediated on my lower spine / back bone
to reveal some vague pain, will this stimulate the kundalini ?
3.How do I proceed ? Should I reduce/discontinue Meditation
for a while ?Always feels my aura/field quite strongly so I feel.
4.Also I get an headache when in the presence of some people
who could be heavy into some habits and also seem to have
strong jealousy. If I slowly chant Om I feel better instantly.
5.Importance of exercise in Meditation ? I swim as often as I can, it
really helps me.

I for one do not have an answer , and I would think this question is difficult to answer in a responsible manner ... then the conversation wanders into conjecture.

The question ( as I see it) : is there correlation between your meditation practice and your physical and emotional experiences you outlined ?
And , is that correlation so compelling that one could say it is the 'cause' of those experiences ?

One can guess and that does little good. This then suggests one needs to rule out any medical reasons and hence seeking the proper medical advice may be square one.

Dear friend,
Before coming to a definite answer ,you have to rule out any possible health questions because any damage to nerves in brain could cause , tingling or stinging pain

Namaste,

What you describe is what the Sahaj Yogis go through. You might want to link up with their local chapter. In US, the link is,

A grounding technique has helped me.The stinging is gone.
I imagine white light from the tip of my lower back bone
projecting into earth for a brief distance. Also meditating
with a focus below ground has helped.
Thank You All.

Edit:
I also hear/feel this buzzing sound around me at various times during the day.
This stinging I feel mainly during meditating or doing some intensive reading.
Would be entering my 9th year of consistent Meditation, though have been
experimenting since last 20 Years.I at times feel should I reduce my Meditation
for a while since energies/aura/field seems stronger or so i feel, though
i feel even if i leave meditation , it will not leave me.... :)

The grounding technique definitely helped.yes ruling out health issues is always prudent ,
though I have just minor issues.
