I am coming up with a database of temples across the world. The idea behind is to organize and present information about every Hindu shrine across the globe and to provide with authentic information about every temple. Would be great if members could provide what ever inputs on popular temples near your place and on any other you might be knowing.

Vannakkam: I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Most of this is already available in some way, and putting 100 000 + temples into a data base would be nigh impossible. Perhaps you mean outside India and other countries with high Hindu population. That might be doable, but google maps probably already does it with their 'search nearby' function.

Here is the list of some of Hindu temples accross the world:
Angkor Wat: located at Cambodia
Prambanan Temple: located at Indonesia
Sri Venkateswara Temple, Australia
Sagar Shiv Mandir, Mauritius
Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal
