Just an observation,

The first 15 sanskars are from conception through the age of approximately 25.
The 15th sanskar is marriage and that takes all the joy out of your life :) as there are no more rites performed as long as you live.
After the age of 25, the 16th rite is the last rite performed (by your survivors) after you die.
