I had noticed that the video-graphics were becoming unstable, but after switching off on Good Friday there has been no sign of any activity from my computer at all. :( I had been hoping for a third day resurrection, but that now seems unlikely! ;) And I am currently in Australia, where most business is closed for at least four days over Easter and I must wait until Tuesday before any technician can look at the problem! :rolleyes: If you don't know, perhaps your illustrious installer could reassure me that all of my data is not necessarily lost forever. :eek:

If your pc has crashed, only way would be to take out the hard drive and get data out of it (in another pc;)) before re-booting the current pc.
