For those that like to star gaze, Venus and Saturn are in the same degee, min, and almost seconds of an arc today.

Look to the Western sky and look to the brightest object there. You will see Venus, the brightest. Then you see Saturn right in line with Venus.
NOt as bright, yet it will be an easy read which one is saturn, or sani the slow moving one.

They are at 28 degrees 25 minutes Cancer. This is called a conjunction.

Soon Saturn willl transit to Leo ( July 15th) and stay there for 2 1/2 years. You will see some changes in your activities if you pay attention.
I will outline a few ideas in the Jyotish folder as we get closer.

If you look to the Eastern sky and look for the brightest object you will see Jupiter, residing in Scorpio, and going backwards...that is retrograde.
With a reasonable set of binoculars you will see Jupiters moons. from night to night you will see how the moons change location.
When viewing Jupiter it's at 17 degrees 54 minutes Scorpio.

Happy viewing!
