Namaste,

Helping others is a foundational principle of a heathly society. It has been my good fortune to help as I can. This is a new charitable organization called ASHA, http://www.ashanet.org/ . I have noticed their intent. I will help as the purse allows. This will help with education in India. Other WW locations are also available.

The other foundation I help with is http://www.cncf.org/ the Christina Noble Childrens Foundation. My intent is to assist the children in Mongolia. We all have our reasons to assist, yes?

http://www.foodrelief.org/news/articles/81/1/Food-Relief-Started-in-Ugalpur-Orissa/ is another - Food Relief.org

Do you have others that you find worthy of time, effort and contributions?

Lets share some of these and perhaps others may find it useful or may be in search of a place to help out. The list may be of use to them.

namaskar,

Plan Canada or formally known as Foster Parents Plan is great. My wife and I have personal experience dealing with the organization. We only have good things to say about them.
