Dear Friends,

It's often said the 12th from karakamsa points to the ishta devata. How does one determine the ishta devata based on the planets present in the 12th from karakamsa? I have two planets in the 12th (scorpio) from karakamsa (Ju and Ke), so I am confused as to how people arrive at the ishta devata in this case. Which devata corresponds to Ju, and which devata to ketu?

Some say Parashara was of the view that only forms of Visnhu are considered ishta devata, while others disagree. Can Yajvan and other experts shed some light on this?
