The Shiva Bhajan starts at 1:37. Does anyone know the name and/or lyrics to it? Thanks in advance.

Hi Haridas,

Thanks for the video. It was really beautiful. I think the bhajan is an original composition written for the Ramayana TV series. The last part where the Sage recites the mantras (6:48-7:10) ~ that part is from the Sri Rudram hymn of the Yajurveda:

namaH SankarAya ca mayaskarAya ca
namaH SivAya ca SivatarAya ca

Bow to the Causer of Prosperity and Enjoyment and
Bow to the Auspicious and the Most Fortunate
(Sri Sarabhanga's translation (http://www.hindudharmaforums.com/showpost.php?p=35&postcount=4))

Aum Namah Shivaya,
A.

Namaste.
Thank you for your response. After listening to the lyrics, I took out a few words (such as "Damaru Pani") and searched it up on google. I've found the Bhajan here: http://www.rajattokas-prc.zoomshare.com/3.html
. It's called "Om Namah Shivaye".

We must have been searching at the same time :). I also found it on that site, but the final verse is missing. Here's the version I found on the other site:

Damaru pani shool pani hei natarajan namo namo
Sheesh ganga bhasma anga karke dharan namo namo

Tum aadi-dev anaadi ho, tum anta-heen anant ho
Shrimant ho bhagawant ho, hei naath girijaa kant ho
Shashi lalaat tan viraat, hei trilochan namo namo

Nis-saar is sansaar mein, shiv naam kewal saar hai
Shiv shakti hai, Shiv bhakti hai, Shiv mukti ka aadhaar hai
Rom rom Om Om, hei adhnashan namo namo
