Namaste.
If I wanted to be ritually pure, would I perform Achamana, or would I always have to take a bath? As a Muslim, purification was violated when one did some natural acts (such as passing gas and going to the bathroom and sleeping/"losing consciousness"). Is this true with Achamana?
Also, the Achamana I've been taught is:
Sip water, say "Achyutaya Namah"
Sip water again, say "Anantaya Namah"
Sip water one last time, say "Govindaya Namah"
Is this the correct way to do it?
Thanks!
