Both hamsa upanishad & guru gita say that ham is bijam & sah is shakti. Now whereas hamsa upanishad says that 'soham' is kilakam, guru gita says that 'krom' is kilakam.
By the way, Swami Dayananda Saraswati had said that whenever there is any conflict between Vedas & other texts, Vedas shall be taken as the primary authority.
Arya Samaj founder says that Vedas are primary and Brahma Sutras, Bhagvadgita, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Puranas & indeed any other sanskrit text whatsoever is secondary, tertiary or even lesser.

As far as Arya Samaj is concerned, only the Mantra Samhitas (Hymn Collections) of the Veda are Shruti (that which is heard), and everything else is of human authorship, and not considered revealed. As for the Upanishads, they accept only the ten principal Vedic Upanishads - Isha, Kena, Katha, Prashna, Mundaka, Mandukya, Taittiriya, Aitareya, Chandogya and Brhadaranyaka. So, if you're trying to sort out the difference between the teaching in the Hamsa Upanishad and the Guru Gita (part of the Skanda Purana), Arya Samaj doctrine will not help you there.

The word ' kilakam ' is being translated differently by various persons. I have seen its 3 meanings at 3 places. They are pillar, wedge and nail.
I am also not in complete agreement with Satyarth Prakash. Swamiji had blacklisted Yoga vasishtha, Panchdashi, Hatha Yoga Pradeepika and other texts some of which I find as good.
For those who may not be aware with Swamiji (1824-1823 ), I would delineate his views :
(1) There are no gods or deities or avatars.
(2) It is traitavada. A bird eats fruits on a tree. Another bird perched on the adjacent branch watches. Former is jivatma and latter is paramatman. Eating fruit is interaction with the world and tree is the universe.
(3) Brahma was a rishi.
(4) Vishnu & Shiva are yogis.
(5) Rama & Krishna were mahapurushas.

Who is this 'swami' blacklisting dharmic texts? :( Obviously not a hindu so why is his views being discussed here in the 'Scriptures' section of Sanatana Dharma?

Anyone blacklisting dharmic texts doesn't deserve a 'ji' in my book.

He was born at Tankara in Kathiawar ( Gujarat ) in 1824 with Moola Shanker as his name. After sanyas, he got the name Dayananda Saraswati. His guru was a blind sage by the name Virjaananda. He established Arya Samaj in 1875 in Mumbai. His book ' Satyarth Prakash ' is a monumental work. He died in 1883 after being poisoned. He is being hailed as Maharishi. There are many Dayananda Anglo Vedic institutions after his name in India and also there are gurukuls for boys & girls.
