View Full Version : Morality and Conscience!

Many great thinkers have described conscience as a “moral” capacity that enables one to distinguish between “Good and Evil”, “True and False ” and also “Right and Wrong”. It almost seems like there is an intimate and direct connection between morality and conscience. Is there a connection? Or, is it a learned behavior regardless of morality?

Secondly, we all have heard the expression “Clear conscience”, “Evil conscience”, and “Good conscience”. Is there such a thing as “good conscience” and “bad conscience”? While, I personally do not think so, it can be an interesting topic to discuss.

I welcome you, therefore, to explore the idea and the origin behind conscience and in doing so, understand, what if, any is the relationship between “morality and conscience”.

Blessings,
