If Subramuniyaswami is the 162nd satguru of the Nandinatha Sampradaya's Kailasa Parampara, and the Mystery Rishi is the 159th, why 159th, who were the ones before? Was that told by the Rishi to his deciple? Why wouldn't the names of the previous satgurus be told? Who are some that are between Maharishi Nandinatha and the present Kailasa Parampara? Is there anything distinctive between different lines so that one could tell the sort of--genetic differences of present teachings?

Did the Mysterious Rishi have other deciples, and did Kadaitswami or Chellappaswami? Is there one Kailasa Parampara with one satguru or others from the Rishi?

And generally, if one deciple takes the place of the master, and is the head so to speak, what of deciples of the other deciples, is there a sort of ranking or anything like that? Is there branching and then a new Seat is set up. Whatever it is called, how does that happen?
