Recently I've read in Linga Purana that Lord Shiva is called:'the One who holds the fire-brand'.
I'm very eager to know the symbolic meaning of the torch-bearing God, or the fire-brand-bearing God, and the meaning of the torch itself; is it the attribute of Lord Shiva only or also of others Gods?
