Can some one please answer me these questions?

In Mahabarata just prior to war, it is said both Arjuna and Dhuryodana came to Krishna for help. Did Krishna specifically first asked Dhuryodana? If so why did he ask him (first Preference given) before asking Arjuna?

2. Why did Dhuryodana ask Krisna not to take up weapons under no circumstance? I suspect it was actually Krisna’s intent not to get directly involved in the war. Is that right?

3. How is Krishna different from Rama? Is it true Rama did not know he was God?
Thank you Love..........VC

Namaste,

So, the story goes like this:
Mahabharat was was imminent. Arjun and Duryodhan both went to Dwarka to seek Lord Krishna's help. Duryodhan reached first, Lord Krishna was sleeping at that time and Duryodhan sat near his pillow. Where as Arjuna, as a humble devotee and friend of lord stood near the feet of the Lord. When Krishna opened his eyes, he saw Arjun first, so he asked him, what help does he need? Duryodhan objected saying he was present before Arjun. Krishna said, he saw Arjun first so Arjun deserves to ask the help first.

To resolve this, Krishna said, he can't deny his help to anyone who asks. But, he will not fight in the war, he will not touch the weapons. So on one side is he, himself, without any weapon. On the other side is his mighty army. Arrogant Duryodhan selected Krishna's army, while humble Arjun selected Krishna. And everyone knows the rest.

However, the methaphor is: Whatever be the tempetation on the side of unrighteousness but a devotee always choses God against them. And in the long term, there is power, virtue and victory on his side.

Second methaphor is God is charioteer is always happy to help devotees, but it is the choice which devotee needs to make.

Namaste G
You got ans of your two questions from reflaction. Ans of third is here-

It is not true that Ram does not know about himself- don't go to the movies & tv serials of today as they are commercials and not spirituals.

Ram knows but he hides that. Ram was more human by his birth, as he was born, educated, and brougthup as an ordinary person.
Went to forest with his wife and brother as ordinary man. He get the help of monkey army as an ordinary being.

Ravan got a boon from brahma that only ordinary human can kill him. According to Vishnu Puran all dharmik kings are part of Vishnu, so Ram killed Ravan first than become. He knows everything well.

Ram is differ from Krishan- Krishan shows everything -
Guards fell asleep, prison doors and chains of Vasudev open automatically. Krishan go in pond & beak Kaaliya the snake, dance over his head, handel Govardhan Hills at his pinky - all in the front of everybody while ram show than only in need like breaking Shiv Dhanush in Sita ji's Swemvar.

Hare Krishna everybody,

In one sense, Lord Krishna and Lord Rama are non-different, both are Vishnu-tattvas. The Supreme Lord Krishna (the origin of all Vishnus and Vishnu Avatars) appears in the form of Lord Rama for the unlimited purposes, only known to Himself in its entirety. One of the purpose as explained in Shri Valmiki Ramayan is to set an exemplary example of how one should behave. Lord Rama is known as maryada-Purushottam. He set an exemplary example as ideal son, ideal King, ideal brother, ideal husband.

Lord Rama is the Supreme Lord and He is omniscient meaning He knows everything including the fact that He is the Supreme Lord of the entire cosmic manifestation. However, out of His unlimited kindness, Lord Rama behaves in a very gentle manner with everybody. Just as for example a police officer at work is wearing uniform, gun etc. and as a police officer on duty, he has to behave in a strict way, but the same police officer, when he goes home behaves differently with his little children, wife, parents. At work, the police officer is giving orders, whereas at home he is very submissively taking orders from his parents, his little children are riding on his back etc. but he is still the police officer. Out of love for his relatives, he behaves differently.

Namaskar,

Hare Krishna everybody,

The general hindu view is that Vishnu is the supreme and Lord Krishna his avatar not the other way around though I know that that is ISCKON view point.
