I haven't seen the movie but I have seen reviews and bits and pieces of it and as a Hindu I am a bit concerned. Does this movie show hinduism in a negative manner? What? A western movie showing hinduism negatively? Shocking, right? Anyway, I hear that the movie star is reminded of God Rama as he remembers his mother being killed by Hindu Zealots.

If this is true, my question would be why are they linking God Rama to the killings? A lof people kill in the name of religion. A certain incident in mumbai comes to mind. Nutcases running around killing people in the name of allah. How about the christian preists in rwanda helping people kill and dismember tutsis? is christ responsible for that?

Can anyone tell me if this is true? thanks
