How to counter Aryan Invasion Theory?

Even though AIT is now rejected, it still has more importance because a) there's no alternative b) western scholarship is usually accepted in these matters.

Besides all this, there's another factor. How will you handle people who believe in AIT, regardless of evidence? And there are many who'd love to believe in this, because they feel it gives them a higher status (making them cousins to Europeans and all). Incidentally, most North Indians also look European and South Indians have non-European features, thus compounding the problem. Hence, many people fall for this willingly, evidence or no evidence.

How will you convince such people? Or, are they hopeless?

AIT topic has been beaten to death on these forums. Please review some of the old threads and posts on this topic.


In my experience this topic almost always ends up getting someone banned from the forum because people can't contain themselves and thus start posting stuff that is not in alighnment with the forum rules and purpose.

AIT theory has been rejected by scholars. Those (non)scholars who choose to keep their heads buried under the sand cannot be helped. Convincing them is out of the scope for this forum.
