You are descended from Punjabi and Rajasthani people, most likely Jat and Rajput and Khatri, maybe also mixed with Dom and Banjara people. The Roma were the warriors, some noble families, including also artisans, weapons makers, horse breeders, professional musicians and servants, you represent entire pinds taken into captivity who fought against the Mughal invaders, but due to superior numbers and weapons were part of groups of families that were enslaved and began to wander. The clans became mixed up and are now form Roma clan with own subgroups still reflecting original jatis, but is predominantly kshatriya lineage.

The dark green shows the mountain ranges known as Hindu Kush.

Iranian for "Destruction of Hindus", referring to events in the area when Islam took over the area.[5] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindu_Kush#cite_note-4) It is important to note that the name "Hindu Kush" only comes into use after the Islamic invasions begin. The name Hindu Kush is not recorded before c.1330. As 'kush' means 'killing' in old Persian, most sources state it means Hindu-Killer because of the killing of many Hindus [6] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindu_Kush#cite_note-5) by Islamic invaders in these areas and vast number of Hindu slaves who perished in passing its snows while being taken by Islamic invaders. Rich history. You ancestors survived slaughter and tortures but belong to Bharat Mata, always your true eternal homeland. Always your Motherland!

Please please Baba, please post samples of ROMA Palaces-Homes built by wealthy Romas.

I know some may be yet unfinished ---yet please post some excellent photos of exteriors and interiors and multiple views of the super handsome Architecture the is solely unique to Romania's Roma elite.

Most readers of this thread HAVE NO IDEA of what I am asking ---until you show them.

OH MY GOD!!!

This makes me awe struck!!!

More and More if possible?

It reminds me of the style known as "french 2nd Empire Victorian Architecture" circa 1870's ---the height of craftsmanship combined with sublime indo-centric classical ornamentation.

a] In post 5 to the right [of the two women] is an apartment heater that uses wood??? Is that Correct? Is it Steel with a ceramic coated Finish?

b] Indra, can you say how many common words in Roma language that are the same as Hindi/Sanskrit?

c] The interiors remind me of the scenes from the Mahabharata?

Have you watched the Mahabharata movie by B.R. Chopra? It is on DVD on 16 Disks lasting approx 94 Hours long?

The subtitles are in French, spanish & English. The audio is in Hindi language.

Roma language is a indo-aryan language and related with sanksrit and hinid but i cannot say how much words are the same because i neither speak the roma language nor do i speak sanskrit or hindi.

I never watched the Mahabharat movie, can you tell me where i can get it? i would like to watch it.

Any Little-India section of Town with a Video store.

It was made approx 10 years ago and it was televised all over India.

Everyone would stop to watch it nation wide.

You can see bits and pieces of it on www.youtube.com (http://www.youtube.com)

search: Mahabharata, B.R. Chopra

The architectural style of the Romas is breathtakingly beautiful! What a treat! What eye-candy! I love this style. It reminds me of the Maharajas and Maharanis. And yes, there is something Vedic and ancient about it like scenes from movies depicting the Mahabharata.

Thank you for sharing!
