dear all, i need some help here in sanskrit.
in Hariharaashtakam there is a line that goes:
Kalabha Kesari Vaji Vahanam
Vaji Vahanam is translated as having a tiger as one's vehicle.(for Swami Ayyappa)
in the dictionary Vaji always means horse but why is it translated as tiger in this ashtakam.
kindly clear my doubts.
