I was doing a bit of research into Sahajiya Vaisnavism.. I know it's considered Heresy.. Most likely because of it's sexual practices.. But there was a Buddhist Sahajiya group as well.. Both Buddhist and Hindu Sahajiya don't have much of a following as I have yet to see.. I wonder if the reason why there isn't much following on it is because it's a failure of a practice.. It brings no spiritual insight.

I've never heard about this sect. And I've never heard anything called "heresy" in Hinduism (certain things are called evil, but I've never known Hindus to divide over theology). What exactly is this?

Well I found a book called "The place of the hidden moon." It has some of the texts of the Sahajiya movement.

Vaisnava Sahajiya arose in the 16th century in Bengal.

The Old IndiaDivine Forums told me that it was a heretical cult.

Wikipedia has an article on it:

I'd never heard of it either until you mentioned it.
