Namaste,

I have a Bhagavad-gitA question after reading some of the version of Sri Srimad BhaktivedAnta NArAyana MahArAja.

In Chap 12 Verse 1 he translates;

arjuna uvAca
evam satata-yuktA ye
bhaktAs tvAm parupAsate
ye cApy aksharam avyaktam
teshAm je yoga-vittamAh

"Arjuna said: According to your earlier instructions, there are bhaktas endowed with nishthA, who constantly engage in bhajana to Your SyAmasundara form, and there are also those who worship nirvesesha-akshara-brahma. Of these two, who is the best type of yogi?"

There are many, many other slokas in his version where you will find Sanskrit terms and phrases that are not found in the original verse. Is this common in India? I mean, in other GitA versions?

Here in the West we are typically familiar with maybe just 2,3 Bhagavad-gitA versions.

I personally find Sri NArAyana MahArAja's version most entagling to the mind and thus the most interesting to read, but I'm not sure whether to trust it. What do you think?

Oh well, maybe no one knows what to do with my question. Perhaps the answer is in a song..
