I came across this board due to a search, and found much.

I was raised in a non-religious family, yet, always there was
something there, that seemed to draw me toward it, as a child, I had
the feeling of knowing more about life, than I should.

It was this feeling, that later led me to travel to Asia, stay many
years in Japan, study Shinto and Zen, to join the Soto Zen Order in 2002 as a novice..

Studying the Prajnaparamita Sutra, I became more and more interested
in Tantra, and found myself drawn to deities from Sanatana Dharma, and
this is where I am now.

Currently living in Berlin, Germany.

Thanks.

Greetings and Namaste Unsui,

Welcome to the forum. Good to have you here.

Berlin is such a historical beautiful city. There is a Western style ISKCON type Hindu temple in town, which I visited a couple of years back. Don't know if you are familiar with it.

Should you have any scriptural/philosophical questions, fire away and someone will try to answer them. In the meantime, you might find some new stuff in the Hindu websites listed under the last bullet of the HDF main page.

Happy spiritual travels!

Regards.

Namaste!

I've been living in Japan since 2001, and have done quite a bit of study on Zen as well, though not to the extent that you have.

Good to have you here, I'm looking forward to your posts. :) I hope you can enjoy the rich, rich depths that Hinduism has to offer.
