Just what kind of pleasures? Does this include physical pleasure?

NO.

It means Anand (Sat-chit-Anand). BrahmAnand, paramAnand (highest anand), saccidAnand, jn~AnamUrti (jnAna personified), parama-sukhadam (source of highest anand) - that is KrushNa.

Everything about KrushNa is spiritual, untouched by His illusiory material energy - mAyA. Anything related to matter is non-spirit and is only falsely comprehended as pleasure. These are the very basics of SanAtan Dharma - I am not this body.

Is this about this booklet ? http://krishnastore.com/krsna-the-reservoir-of-pleasure-h-krishna-1033.html Then please buy a copy.

Here is what is in the booklet: http://www.folknet.in/SS2008/html/srila-prabhupadas-books/excerpts-from-srila-prabhupadas-books/372-krishna-the-reservoir-of-pleasure

Krsna—this sound is transcendental. Krsna means the highest pleasure. Each of us, every living being, seeks pleasure. But we do not know how to seek pleasure perfectly. With a materialistic concept of life, we are frustrated at every step in satisfying our desire for pleasure, because we have no information regarding the real level on which to have real pleasure. For the last few weeks we have been learning that we are not this body; we are consciousness. Not exactly conscousness, for consciousness is actually the symptom of our real identity: we are pure soul, now merged within this material body .Modern material science lays no stress on this; therefore, the scientists are sometimes misled in their understanding of spirit soul. But spirit soul is a fact, which anyone can understand by the presence of consciousness. Any child can understand that consciousness is the symptom of the spirit soul. Even after the destruction of this body, our consciousness is not destroyed...

----------------

I have some suggestion. Rather than window-shopping on Advaita, Buddhism and suddenly KRSNa consciousness, and asking bits and pieces in forums, it is better to decide on one thing, find a live Guru, or at least someone knowlegable in the subject.
e.g. visit the nearest Temple and inquire (with a planned set of questions). They will (alongside) most likely ask you to read:

1. Bhagavad Gita (as it is)
2. The KRSNa book - KRSNa, The Supreme Personality of Godhead
3. Shrimad BhAgvatam - from the beginning in sequence, no other way

LOT of reading to do.

To make is somewhat easier philosophically, i would recommend reading the chapter "Prayers of the Personified Vedas (http://srimadbhagavatam.com/10/87/en)" (In KRSNa book OR Bhagvatam Canto 10 chapter 87) AFTER reading bhagavad gita by a VaishNav AchArya.

SB 10.87.50: He is the Lord who eternally watches over this universe, who exists before, during and after its manifestation. He is the master of both the unmanifest material energy and the spirit soul. After sending forth the creation He enters within it, accompanying each living entity. There He creates the material bodies and then remains as their regulator. By surrendering to Him one can escape the embrace of illusion, just as a dreaming person forgets his own body. One who wants liberation from fear should constantly meditate upon Him, Lord Hari, who is always on the platform of perfection and thus never subject to material birth.

Ram name means pleasure

therefore when one invokes the name Ram all pleasure is sure to follow. Tulsidas say Ram se bada Ram ka naam meaning name Ram is even higher then Lord Ram why? because, Tulsidas says, when Ram was present in ayodhya he liberated those subject only but his name continues to liberate anyone who chants his name.

worldly pleasure are no pleasure, it is just a temporary respite from the pangs of material struggles, where else when one connects with the reservoir of all pleasure the Ananda derived is permanent.

Sīta speaks to hananumānji - Know rāma to be the Supreme Brahman - One without a second. I, in the presence of rāma, His power (or Prakriti) created the Universe unwearied... Adhyātma Rāmayāna, Bala Khana, śloka 32-43

ram - to delight, make happy
rama - pleasing , delighting , rejoicing
rāma - pleasing , pleasant , charming , lovely , beautiful
bala-rāma - 'the strong rāma' , regarded as elder brother of kṛṣṇa
rāmacandra - the principal rāma called dāśarathi. Son of daśa-ratha , and rāghava , as descended from raghu . Although the affix candra seems to connect him with the moon , he is not , like kṛṣṇa and bala-rāma, of the lunar but of the solar race of kings. The avatāra of viṣṇu and is the hero of the rāmāyaṇa
ramayati - to gladden , delight , please praṇām

Hare KrushNa

Yes, Raam = reservoir of pleasure. In the context of the 16 word MahAmantra :

Hare KrushNa Hare KrushNa KrushNa KrushNa Hare Hare
Hare RAm Hare rAm rAm rAm Hare Hare

Shrila Jiva GoswAmi explains each word.

The word Raam in this context, for the Gaudiya VaishNavs, means:

1. Raam = He Who sports, He Who sports with RAdhA = RAdhA-ramaN = KrushNa

2. KrushNa is referred to as Raam because He gives Supreme Joy to His devotees by His transcendence, beauty, qualities and lilas.

The word Hare is also referenced in two ways
1. Vocative of Hari - Who steals away miseries, material attachments, and Radha
2. Vocative of HarA = RAdhA Who steals away (destroys) devotee's misery, KrushNa's Flute, KrushNa's heart etc.

When you go to become doctor...you study only things which a doctor need to know?

Doctor is so specialized with so much learning to happen...there is not room for most students to have much outside influence of art or literature?

When in school...the children only learn english as rule until they are older...they do not do homework in other language here because they barely able to eat unattended at 4 years old...much less speak in two language fluently. They are just barely writing their name.

In both the novice and the specialist...the best way to learn is to focus upon your area and expand out, not the other way around.

As for temple...I have also this problem and so my home become this Source for me...it is not perfect as Temple would be...but we do the best we can.

SD house SO much information...I can not understand at all how I could distract from this knowledge to delve into other ideas...

I will spend my life trying to read through the Wondrous volumes within the Truth...and I doubt I will just scratch the surface(and I am a speed reader:p ).
