I found this on a Pagan blog. It discusses a new Christian "Missionary Code of Conduct," and its implications, particularly in places like India. The author notes that, although the new guidelines state that missionaries are not to engage in the kind of immoral behavior they usually engage in...these guidelines are purely voluntary...and they will likely be used to challenge Indian laws banning forceful or fraudulent conversions.

Hmm...this is interesting. I suppose Christians have always tried to spin the "you'll suffer eternal conscious torment in hell if you don't convert" doctrine and make it as politically correct as possible. Seriously though, how do you portray a belief like this as even mildly benevolent? At the end of the day, Christians want to destroy other cultures and Westernize their people, their protestations to the contrary notwithstanding. I can't think of anything Christians could say about their missionary agenda to make it seem any better. To me, the fact that they are out to destroy the Hindu religion eclipses smaller issues like paying people to convert. The latter are mere symptoms of the problem of missionary work in general.

Hopefully India will continue to pass tougher anti-conversion laws.

Vannakkam: Sorry to pull out an overused adage, but .... "Actions speak louder than words."

Words may hold the wool over the eyes a while longer, but that's about it.

This is always going with Adharmi groups, you have better knowledge.

This stupid congress is making pro terrorism Law to help them, where Christian terrorists will kill non Christians, and Muslim terrorists will kill non Muslims, and those who will defend themselves and others will be blamed for their action.
