Is there a difference between it and the Saiva Siddhanta Church?

Is there a difference between it and the Saiva Siddhanta Church?

Vannakkam Divine Kala: I am not sure if Srouta Saiva Siddhanta names a philosophy or an organisation. If its an organisation, then its not the same as Saiva Siddhanta Church. Philosophically, I'm guessing there are some small differences. I'm not good enough at all the words on their site to figure that out. I'm not a scholar, and the site seemed quite scholarly to me.

The primary difference found in Saiva Siddhanta schools is a subtle one between monism, and dualism.

Yes, they appear to be different. They are not the same organisation of course and they do not appear to based on the same sampradaya. . Philosophically/Theologically they are very similar but not the same from the little research I have done online.

Saiva Siddhanta Church (http://www.himalayanacademy.com/ssc/)states it aim is to:
To protect, preserve and promote Saivite Hinduism, especially the enlightened monistic Saiva Siddhanta philosophy, called Advaita Ishvaravada, of the Nandinatha Sampradaya's Kailasa Parampara.

Where the Srouta Saiva Siddhanta (http://sroutasaivasiddhanta.com/about.htm) state that:

The object of Siva Jnana Lahari is therefore, to explain and enlighten the seekers of knowledge on the great traditions of this country. The great truths on Saivam culled out by the author from the scriptures and written both in Sanskrit and Telugu with authentic quotations from the Vedas, Upanishads, Smritis, Samhitas, Agama Sastras, Dharma Sastras, Kalpa Sutras, Itihasas, Puranas and Upapuranas, are translated into English and published by Siva Jnana Lahari, (English series) for the benefit of the readers to acquaint themselves with the treasure house of knowledge contained in the Srouta Sivadwaita philosophy, which alone is following the Vedas and hence called as the Srouta Saiva Siddhanta.
8. There is neither dispute about the Ultimate Reality nor any inconsistency or otherwise in the entire Veda Vangmayam including the Puranas. The author has stated this point eloquently that "Sarva Vidya Samanvayam", meaning interpretation of what is stated in all the scriptures in unison and without contradiction is possible only through Srouta Saiva Siddhanta...

You could contact them and ask for their explanation of how they might differ. Both seem to promote the greatness of Lord Shiva :)
