I'm curious. Is the more correct manner of pronunciation "sanskr-u-t", not sanskr-i-t."
Just wondering.

Yes. The R. OR Ru' letter is a standalone consonant. When combined with K, B, P etc. it is shown in devnagari as reverse of short 'u ' vowel. KRu'
Rushi (sage)
SaMskrut
KrushNa
prakruti
Rutu (season)
amrut (immortal)
prAkrut (of native nature, also used for indegenous or local languages)

Namaste,
I am trying to learn a little Sanskrut. I am confused at Vibhakti - Cases.
Does anyone have any idea how to remember all Vibhaktis ? It is very much confusing for me - like different for Strilinga - pulinga - napusaklinga - again different for Akarant - Aakarant - Ukarant Ookarant and so on.
