Namaste,

I have started an other thread before about getting a rudraksha japa mala with 33 beads altogether. Have not got real answer there. But as it's very dear to me, I will wear it on me and use another rudraksha japa mala with 108 beads for meditation that I bought when I myself was in India. (By the way, is that okay to wear a rudraksha mala with 33 beads as a saiva and use another with 108 beads for meditation?)

But in fact, the string of the mala with 108 beads seems to be very slight/thin and I am afraid it may be torn easily. So my question is: are the strings strong enough despite being thin? What are your experience with it? Or what if it happens to be torn in the meantime?
