Is Maya , always associated with feminime aspect ?

Without having seen the Youtube videos posted by Devoteeji let me offer my thoughts on this.

If I understand correctly, Maya of Advaita is similar to Prakriti of Samkhya. According to Samkhya, cosmogony proceeds when unliberated Purushas [masculine aspect] *pierce* Prakriti [feminine aspect] to set forth another round of creation.

This allegory may be the reason behind why Maya is considered "feminine".

I could be wrong.

Is Maya the ultimate concept of dream ?

The actual, permanent presence of "I" being without body (limited by the 5 senses), which actually translates to the infinity, temporary fixation of the "I" in a body is like a dream wrt the permanence.

The world being out of our 5 senses is limited by them again (had we less or more senses the understanding would have been different).

So this world of Maya, out of our senses - how real is it ?

Love and best wishes
