I'm looking at ashrams online and I found this http://www.shantimandir.com/en/index.html and I'm trying to find out if the guru who runs the place Mahamandaleshwar Swami Nityananda (http://www.shantimandir.com/en/about/swami-nityananda.html) is the one that had the sex skandel. I'm confused I tried looking it up online but I'm still confused.

Vannakkam Rudy: Yes, it does get confusing. Maybe you could find it in the chronicles of Siddha Yoga Dham. When Muktananda left (attained mashasamadhi) , he put two people in charge, a brother and sister, who later broke up, the brother resigning, and leaving the charge to his sister, who became Chidvalasanda. The organisation has gone through several controversies.

After the split, the brother later reformed a new branch. This is it, and him.

Nothing at all to do with the Nityananda young looking guy who underwent the sex scandal in India. Hope this helps.
