Many people seem to be talking about altars, the components, where to buy the items, making them yourself, calendars for ekākashī and festivals and other observances that are in some form or another pretty much universal in Hindus around the globe - to create them, have them on your iPod, print them or download them to your computer... all these topics seem to me to fall under the single heading of Pūjā. You don't have to be new to Sanatana dharma to be researching these ideas. It's good to re-visit our own practices and to view others' as possibilities for ourselves as we grow and transform.
So what do you think of adding a forum where people can go to discuss these things - possibly with some stickies about where to buy/download calendars, where to order items for pūjā, maybe sites that list events by city, ...? I think it might clean up the site a bit, making these common topics more accessible.
