I have just realized, I cannot find anything regarding any deva or devi to be immortal. . In no religion have I ever come across a divine being NOT being immortal. The immortality of the devi and deva in Sanatana Dharma fits more with spiritual immortality then physical (which i agree with). Just like Jesus honestly. He was described as spiritually immortal which is what all spirits are as compared to other pantheon which declared physical gods being eternal and forever living. Am i right or is there something I have not read :dunno:

Namaste cuddledkitty,

No Deva or Devi is eternal or immortal, only Brahman is eternal; the Deva and Devi will return to Brahman one day,
maybe to be reborn again in another or similar form, not unlike like our material body's them selves; they will also eventually fade,
as does our every heart beat.
This does not negate the existence of our heart.

This is as certain as it is also apparent, that the planet earth, will one day return into the Sun.

Swami Lakshman Ju speaks of the eventual fading of the Deva and Devi, as he expounds the Shiva sutras.
Not as any major issue, but matter of factly.
