Iskon and marraige

We all know Iskon follows chaitanya mahaprabhu 's gaudiya vaishnab dharma. some days back Iskon Mumbai has conducted marriage ceremony of Hema Malini's daughter. I am shocked. How could a vaishnab relate themselves in such worldly activities which is full of aishorjya. Iskon also found engaged in doing ady sradhaya ( last rituals). I think these are the job of a purohit (panditji) for which they use learn vaidik mantra. Mahaprabhu and his parikars never did such activities. I do not understand why Iskon whose primary duty is krishna consciousness as they say can involve in marraige sradhya etc.
