Question regarding Sasa Yoga

Namaste,

I am relatively new to astrology, and am having some difficulty interpreting a chart.

The person in question has Taurus as his ascendent (Vrishabh Lagna) and a strong, unafflicted Saturn in his 9th house, which is also the ruler the 10th house.

Now, I've done some research into the Sasa Yoga, and found some contradictory information. Some say that this yoga is only formed when Saturn is placed in a kendra, but other sources say that being placed in its own house, in a trine, is sufficient.

Obviously I'm hoping that some of the learned members here can offer me some input.
