Removing Tulsi beads
Namaste,
This might seem like a silly question but it's one I've been wondering about today.
I have worn my Tulsi neck beads for around 3 years now and have never taken them off, except for one time due to an MRI scan (the beads are held together on a silver chain and so they would never let me wear it during the scan). The question is whether this is acceptable as I know it should never be removed unless damaged.
I did say it was probably a daft question so apologies for that!

Re: Removing Tulsi beads
Namaste!
Just curious, do you take them off when you have to go to the bathroom? Since doing Achamana before and after is essential when handling anything religious, or else it is disrespectful.

Re: Removing Tulsi beads
Namaste
Wear only the small one then. When we wear tulsi beads, it means that yama dutas will not come to take us at the end of our life, Vishnu dutas will come. Since we dont know which is our last moment, once we wear the beads, we always wear them. If the bigger beads are bothering you at night, you may consider wearing the smaller beads at all times.
