ABVP protests in JNU over event on Afzal Guru

Namaste, have you seen this?
Patriotic students with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad protest outside office of V.C. of Jawaharlal Nehru University today, the University allowed an event that was organized by Muslims to project Afzal Guru who was responsible in the 2001 Parliament terrorist attack as a martyr and some kind of victim of "judicial killing".
Outrageous that JNU would even allow such an event to glorify a terrorist, the students are justified in their anger and protest. Mohammad Afzal Guru was born in Kashmir who was convicted and was given death sentence in India for his role in the December 2001 terrorist attack on the Indian Parliament.

Re: ABVP protests in JNU over event on Afzal Guru
Namaste,
Thanks for the post. JNU is one of the several places which profess to be secular. In India the term secular means to glorify even the worst elements of minorities and to put down the Hindus. I am glad to see that a protest was organized to discourage such activity in the future.
Pranam.
