Where do bloggers and owners of websites from India take their photos/pictures of deities, temples and myths? Are there databases available where I can purchase them?
The databases I know - istock, adobestock etc. - do not provide these themes.

My experience: I have in the past done google search of free downloadable Hindu Deity pictures and found some; can send them to you if you PM me your email address.

I am looking for a wide range of photos on mythology, holy places related to mythology and so on … seems to be an unfulfillable desire.

Not sure if there is enough demand at competitive prices for that, for someone to maintain an extensive database of that kind; but good luck.

PS Inside of the holy places are considered too sacred and photo/video-graphy is prohibited, even though one can find videos of some of the temple alters on youtube. I believe once I found some pictures of holy places in Kurukhestra on Tripadvisor.com under things to do in K.
