Read Bagavidad Gita Now What?

I have read the Gita and have several transliterations. As I was searching other holy texts to read I found this: Conventionally, Hindu literature group into two categories: Shruti - that which is revealed and Smriti - that which is learned. The Vedas constituting shruti, are considered divinely revealed and are thus sacred scripture.

Any recommendations as to what should come after The Gita? Are there any Shruti or Smriti that would be advisable to a follower of Shiva?

I see listed in the topics Vedas and others are mentioned but my question is more, to what should one search next in order to insure more building of knowledge? Hope this makes sense.

Also, the Gita is considered revealed? Correct?
